Poets, unite in your madness!
Break all limits imposed,
And singme your Songmy
From wherever your soul
Finds itself in the yearning herenow —
Perhaps beneath a mossy rock,
Trembling in darkness,
Lost to fear and pain;
Or wandering desolate plains,
Surrounded by pinched minds,
Parsimonious hearts;
Or atop the mountain peak,
Exuberant, spread-eagled,
Embracing spiraling suns and moons
And glimmering Venusian planets;
Possibly further out still,
Beyond our diamond-blue pin-point lights —
An Odyssean Starsailor
Winging where heart-mind-spirit,
Vast with compassionate love,
Becomes itself the contextual Aum
Embracing and infusing all the
Galactic starcloud multi-verses
Glitter-spin-gleaming
Within our whirly-whorling Universe.
Unite in your madness!
With strength and daring,
Transubstantiate Oedipus
Clinging to mummy-dearest,
Electra engulfed by her father-need.
Like a Cape Canaveral spaceship,
Boldly blast off, up and away,
Immoderately and audaciously
Spinning robust tales
Of fecund creativity,
Vivacious love,
And freeflight courage
In thought and word and deed.
Do it —
Embrace your freedom!
Dizzy me with verbal abandon —
Drink me drunk with improvidently sensual language —
Skysurf me radically over the edge of Earth,
Singing me lusciously, deliciously,
Unreasonably, bounteously, boisterously
In blazing cometjoy,
Tossing willy-nilly poems behind you
In love and laughter
Like Zen-blown autumn leaves
In songflight's singsong soaring grace.
Poets, unite in your madness! —
In laughter and tears,
Share the glory,
Share the energy,
Share the infinite affirmation
Of herenow alivity
In all of its intoxicating beauty.
Let your reckless dreamsongs sing
With perpetual love
And sparkling good cheer:
"Have music in my heart,
Will travel!"
